Joan stood guard, while I changed the tire. When we were
almost done, officer Jeff Rogers of the Commerce Police Department
showed up, and used his "blue lights" to warn other drivers of the
danger. He then suggested that we visit a tire dealer in
town. He helped us to cross the highway and get into the left
turn lane directly across the road (you can see the light for the
intersection).
