Day 25 - Joan, trying her hand at Gem Mining in our camp.
Terry and Ed were kind enough to bring us a "bag of dirt" (on the
ground next to Joan) from Rose Creek Mine (one of the Gem Mines in the
area), which they
visited (and did some Gem Mining there). Gem Mining has been a
favorite activity for visitors to the Cherokee area for years.
The small bowl next to
Joan's right hand holds some of the treasures she has found so far.
