The little island across from us has become more of a peninsula. and new islands are starting to appear.  They have issued a warning to boaters to be cautious in shallow areas.  Since the lake was created by damming up three rivers after the area was populated, there are a lot of trees, telephone poles, buildings, bridges, roads, etc., under the surface of the water.  When the lake is at its normal level, most of these objects are more than ten feet below the surface.  At the current level, some are becoming visible once again.  The ones that are still just below the surface are the most dangerous for boaters.
